That was a fun exersize, but I don't know what it is telling us.
The flow-pressure relationships of fans and blowers can be quite complex. At lower flow rates some fans can go into stall, the flow rates will be down and the pressure drop too.
The Mann paper element fitler really does look good! And it could be out doing a K&N. But after a few months, things might get reversed.
I think that checking for a pressure drop across the filter at steady speed on a running vehicle on road would be very interesting. Get the pressure for a current old paper element, a new paper element and a K&N.
