33.9 lbs injectors on LH 2.2 + 005 AMM + RRFPR ?

Injectors are # 0280 155 009 IIRC, came from a '91/'92 2.3T. LH box is '85 non-lambda (Euro version), #521, has Speedparts chip. So how do I go try and adapt to the bigger injectors (if possible at all given their 50+ % higher rating)? Am I right in assuming that with the adjustable AMM I won't need the resistor trick? If so, do I start turning down the AMM adjustment screw until I am in within spec for CO at idle, or do I first lower base fuel pressure on the (Trent/Malpassi) RRFPR? Anyone who tried the same set up and willing to share the settings they ended up with?
TIA,
Eric
