no exact answer, but 12 seems reasonable, and .6 works in your case for 7.2 deg max boost retard.

example, try:

with dawes still at 12, drop btm to .5 , for 1.2 deg more adv by 12 psi, and 6 max boost retard. if more responsive below 12 psi, but knocks at 16, then try .5 btm with 14 dawes. this should keep peppy response thru 12 psi, and about same max boost retard by 14 psi that worked well originally, and should prevent the 16 psi knock.

I came up with the btm/dawes concept to maximize low end grunt and response in my sluggish old 83T (RIP). it allows a lot of options in getting timing dialed in, and can be tweaked by a glove box knob!
