Thanks for the quick response! Actually, after suffering through boost cut after maintaining high boost long enough, I wondered if a electronically controlled throttle is the culprit for the inability to get back into decent boost.

I do not want to eliminate the knock sensor from the APC, but I wonder if eliminating the boost signal to the apc would prevent this from happening (assuming the boost I am getting into is actually still safe, but high enough for the computer to try to close the throttle).

In the mean time, it does get into boost quicker, and I do get a slight amount more boost, but I guess it was not really a necessary addition to my car. As for the boost guage, yes I do. I made a block I have a 52mm HKS boost guage and the remote display for my Valentine 1 radar detector mounted on. The wires and boost line for the guage go through this block and up into the carbon fiber (real) mounting cup the guage sits in. Then I wrapped the block in grey leather like my interior is and held it in place in the opening between the telescoping steering wheel and the dash.

I have been complemented on the results and I am very pleased with it. If you would like to see a picture, email me off this and I will forward you one...
