Going to do a LPT setup I believe... Posted by JustinHiFi [Email] ![]() ![]() |
I have been throwing the idea around of adding a LPT setup to my '91 900S-PG with the 2.1L 10:1 and 149k on the clock. I recently did a compression check and found that I have 155psi straight across the board :-) Not that doing a HG job scares me in the least.
I have been looking through the archives here for the LPT and believe that I have a pretty good idea. All I need to get is:
-Turbo and oil/water lines
-Exhaust manifold, downpipe (already have T exhaust from cat)
-Intake piping from intake box to turbo to intake manifold
-Intercooler
Are there any other major/minor pieces which I should also look for? I am trying to get a setup from an '88 SPG since I cannot find the smaller Mitsu from 90+. I plan on running around 4psi max...maybe 5ish no more. How does this sound?
