After the Viggen, even the Vector engine just doesn't give me the grins. Great car, but... doesn't WHOOOOSH quite enough :) Largely I'm sure because I got it with the 5 spd auto (for my babe who is afraid to drive stick)
There is a "superchip" available for $600 USD - instant install and fully reversable but they don't talk much about what the exact benefits are...
The abbott site says they have one now, but better programming will be avail late winter (can I live that long??? :) but they're PRICEY and I imagine I still have to send my module to England for reprogramming and have the car off the road for a week.
Does anyone in the US or (preferably) Canada offer a descent Trionic remap that's performance oriented for the 9-3 SS 2.0T?
And now the really scary question... can the 5 spd Aisin Warner auto handle more power???
As always..thanks!
Oh.. one PS... anyone got a way to reprogram the auto trans so that it shifts for torque rather than efficiency?
