I would highly recommend adding an atmospheric blow off valve in place of the stock bypass valve. I bought a 1" threaded pipe fitting and just plugged the intake pipe. Next I cut down the length of the hose running from the intake manifold (be sure to keep the hose enlargement section though). The vacuum line stays the same, just connect it to the BOV.
Doing this, I noticed a large improvement in spool-up between shifts. It also makes a cool (but not overly loud) busshhhh sound when getting off the boost.
Secondly, I would recommend a J&S Electronic Knock Monitoring system http://www.jandssafeguard.com/ This allows better monitoring and prevention of knock/detonation on a per cylinder basis. It is however, pricey.
Be sure you are using the larger intake piping (+87 ??) which does not have "Turbo Intercooler" imprinted on the pipes. These were used in early 900s and do not have nearly as good of flow.
