The extra fuel injector should be at least 6" from throttle plae, to give fuel time to mix. Direction of injection is only important as to cause the most tubulance for mixing, I normally use one of those stupid Tornado things. There is a noticable difference with the Tornado in the pipe, mixes fuel very well.
A programable injector drive works best so that you can map fuel flow in three D. You would bring on the extra fuel when both a rpm and boost limit was met.
As for the cold start injector we have mounted it on the discharge side of the intercooler and activated it full on about 10psi, works ok.
As for water injection it can go in any where as long as it is 3" before the throttle plate.
These are just my thoughts and experiences and by no way mean it can not be done better.
