Ok. Sorry JJ, but it works on mine. Yes, it is physics. The waste gate is pressure-based in operation. If you increase the amount of pressure to be pushed through the solenoid vacuum line to activate the waste gate, then you end up with more boost pressure. You must think left-handed sir.
Open the vacuum line in question. Notice the restriction inside the solenoid. Make the hole smaller inside the restriction that is already there (it should be a green insert inside the solenoid; I use a brass fitting in there which comes from another part on the car, wrapped once with tape to make it fit snuggly) Amazing and cheap boost increase. The turbo is generating the same amount of boost (duh) The benefit is from the throttle receiving more boost and holding it longer (when matched with a Viggen bypass valve) Try it, or don't! Just don't say it does not work. I tested it right: one drive with the new restriction, followed by one without. Obvious and consistent difference.
