I don't think everyone will agree on one car or another, But for what its worth.. I Drive both all the time and I drive an 85' 900T as my daily driver. But I love driving viggen's or any Newgen.
As for your $4,000 buck comment.. alls i have to say about that is, someone needs to work on their tuning a good bit.. Personally, I have raced ( Meaning lining 2 cars up )a viggen against a modestly modded c900 that i had tweaked. And sadly the viggen lost. But hey come on, We are runing balls to the walls here and one is tweaked the other isn't. I've personally gotten my 85'900T to beat a few 5.0 stangs and an occasional Z28 from the line on.. And rolling on at higher speeds, I haven't lost a race yet! BUT my 900 is so far from stock it doesn't hardly resemble a saab under the hood.. and its not all just bolt on stuff from some promising EURO fly by night company.. lots of time, work , and sweat poured in to get what i have.. AND YES i have torn thru a few Trannies.. I also have made a Girdle for the rear of the trans on the Diff.. Also had a Metalurgy shop work on all the gears, and I ripped 3rd, 4th clean off. So i have to take it easy.. AHHH well they are BOTH great cars, Won't hear me complain about either.. Come on , There both SAABS!!
