Hmm, how many fwd race cars are FWD? probably 99% I watched LSD fwd stock cars racing on speedvision and didn't see them sliding off the road around every fast corner. Many factory fwd cars come with LSD too. I know for a fact that nissan sentraR specV comes with one. I'm also pretty sure nissan maxima has one from the factory. Let's be honest, the only reason saab didn't install one is financial. It's MUCH cheaper to use existing hardware (abs sensor, brakes, electric throttle) and create TCS software to control wheelspin. IF someone is going to say LSD's are no good should define which one they're talking about. I will agree you don't want one that locks up too fast. A car with a properly selected LSD will beat any similar non LSD car on a track. I only wish I had the money to have one installed!
