Hello Dean, our aluminum flywheels have their ring gears secured by socket head cap screws with button heads. Saab's either have their crank shaft sensor pickups internal as part of the crank (in the crank case) or on the front harmonic dampener. Our friction surface is a high carbon alloy steel which is perfect for any clutch disc material available from organic to Kevlar and even sintered iron. This friction surface is attached using 18 aerospace nuts and bolts. This pattern for the fasteners is a computer design that keeps the friction surface from warping with the differential in expansion and contraction. The engine mounts will have an easier life as the lighter rotating weight is much easier to accelerate. Hope this helps! Thanks, Dave
