i have been wondering the same thing. i was steered towards the ev's as a performance upgrade. i have been using the 7's. last time i pulled plugs, they were pretty sooted up, but i have left them in for awhile and i have been tinkering with the fuel mixtures so there is no wonder they were fouled. the 7 evs worked well in seattle, but now in new england, i have been told a hotter plug may have prevent fouling and without causing performance loss. that is, for the winter months at least. but, staying with the 7's over the summer.
have you moved from ev's to es's? i may make this move in a month or so to check it out and see what is gained, if anything. plugs are cheap enough. which is why i change them out about as frequently as oil...
