need a little more info. what boost are you running? what are you running for fuel? what about spark plugs? what is your initial timing? any mods to the distributor or aftermarket timing control? what ic, stock?
generally speaking, it really comes down to heat, lean fueling, or advanced timing, or a mixture of one or more of the three.
fwiw, i struggled for the longest time while running 18-20psi on the stock ecu. i kept getting predet, even with the msd btm (unless i retarded the hell out of the timing, but then power suffered). heat soak of the stock ic was my issue and the 9000 fmic cured the issue. also realized (from dyno runs with a/f taken, that i was leaning out up top. bigger injectors, rrfpr, etc. helped, but did not cure. now, running a programmable ecu, i run a lot more timing, 3-5psi less of boost (15psi), better fueling, and the car is much, much faster and safer. but, i digress, if you answer some of the questions posed above, we should be able to steer you in the right direction.
hope this helps.
