I have it set to come on at 5 psi, which is probably why I'm getting away with what I am. But after all it's just a matter of small tweaks on the BTM.
I think....anyway, this kind of tuning is taking advantage of the ported 2.3 head. If say I just ran 10psi, the performance is pretty impressive to say the least.
Ultimately it would be great to try what Brad is doing with NA mechanical advance....boost tapers as timing increases.....but I don't have the liberty of the dyno to play around. Too many variables here...hills rain cold hot etc......
do you know what his peak boost was and what it faded to as he reached max timing of 24BTDC or so at high RPM? One could amost just run a stock APC box I suppose....as the taper is built in,,,and just a bit of a f and p tweak to get the psi a bit higher. but I'm talking out of my butt as I'm just taking stabs,,,not too sure;-)
