Sup dude! Welcome to the club. I'm 17 too and my 1st is an 85 900 SPG. Do you live in hilly country or do you do mostly straight line stuff against your friends? The best way I found to go is to get other guys used stuff. Are you going to work on it yourself? Exhaust systems are cheap, and either buying a tweaked APC (do '94 9000's have an APG, or are they a diff unit?) will get more boost, higher rate fuel pressure regulators smooth out the whole range and really help in the top end. The singe best performance item I have at the moment (until I get my new engine installed 8) ) is a lightened flywheel. Dave at Group9 did a fantabulous job on my 900 one, and I beleive the 9000 he can get even lighter. Lightening a stock one is $200-250, but if you can get an aluminum one, boost comes on quicker and the car is TONS more fun to drive because the engine revs up so much faster.
Take care,
Drew
