...when i was hooking up the vacuum lines the right way, after discovering they weren't hooked up correctly, i sort of made a little mistake...
...i forgot to put in a check valve to the PCV assembly.
When i took it on a trst drive, it was the first time i had gone over 10 psi in 5-6 months... so i went a little crazy on the gas...
...of course, without the one way check valve, i blew 2 quarts of oil out of the engine, and SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I noticed a little smoke, and in a few short miles of light driving stopped at a gas station, opened the hood and saw oil that had obviously spattered right out of the oil filler cap/dipstick.
some had gotten on the hot engine parts and steamed up... but... i don't think the oil visible to me measued up to 2 quarts...
...i know it could have gotten into the IC and possibly the downpipe and CAT... which would ruin the cat right?
I should check this out eh? sucks to be me!
That was a while ago... i had the intercooler inspected... could it still be full? what would this do to harm performance?
as far as checking injector resistance, how do i do that? how do i check relays and such?
everything WORKS, obviously... but how can i single out which thing is the cause?
