This is what I cut and pasted from a search on the C900 for AMM tweaking. Works great.

Adjusting AMM

On '86 and up, they moved the 3 pin test socket to where the batterypower junction box is locatey (3-4" from P/S reservoir).

You can find it hiding under the square power block where the red cable from the battery comes in.

The wires should be grey/red and green though, the purple/white is for Check engine lite.
The third pin is purple/white and yellow.

Together with the 3 pin socket is also a 1 pin socket where you can test the setting of idle adjustment, when you ground that pin the idle motor close and engine drops down to baseline.

I just love it when I set out to work on the car and its a 10 minute affair. I upgraded to #24FoMoCo injectors about a month ago. Knowing full well that idle/AMM would need adjusting. Well, Anders gave up some great tips on adjusting the AMM/005 using the test plug under the P/S reservoir. If you hook up an analog multimeter to the purple/grey and red wires on the three wire plug the meter will read 0.0 or 12-13VDC. You want to adjust the AMM/005 until the needle jogs back and forth between 0 & 12VDC. So simple, so GOOD. Make sure your cars warm, one fan cycle, etc. I think I remembered the wire colors correctly!

Cool, I'm so surprised that not more people knows about
That testplug.

Even many mechanics I've talked to, don't know it.
