I am in the middle of installing Nick's inner and outer front control arm bushings on my '99 9-3. I pressed out the outer bushing center rubber first and forgot it was hydraulic. I have a little clean up job to do :)Getting the old metal sleeve out wasn't too difficult with a 12ton press from Harbor Freight and a $2.00 1-1/4" metal pipe end cap to press down with.

My question is regarding the new hardware bolt. The new uprated bolt for the outer won't fit through the threaded bottom hole on the radius arm where the old torx55 screwed into. Is this something that can be punched out or should it be drilled to accommodate the beefier bolt?

Thanks to everybody. This site has really helped me to enjoy my Saab.
