Given that your guage reads off by 1 unit anyways...
You have the good IC, so temps are not so bad. You have the TBTC modified?
Some have hacked the MAP with a resistor mod to shift the signal a bit. And there will be a small unit to unit variation in MAP signals that will be to ones advantage in some cases. So others have run in these territories already. The fuel cutoff point may be more accurate than your mechanical guage, so when it comes to one PSI this way or that, you never really know where you are at unless you get some special gear. So find that fuel cut then get below it. 2nd gear is a rush!
As well as the supporting mods, which you have done, cooler plugs 7ES11's, M1 [0|5]W40 oil, Purolator PureOne PL10241 filters, clean injectors, good fuel. In the summer, insulation of the TB feed pipe will help as well as a shutoff valve for the TB coolant loop.
