for me as well. I finished (finally) my Koni installation, and have been satisfied with the performance, although it snowed the next day and has been doing so since. As of right now, I have the SE/Koni paired with 15 steel snows.
For me, the roads are bad here in WNY, so I opted to keep SE springs and add Konis to my current setup as the old shocks were tired. This is as per Dean, REM, and others suggestions. I also have a set of 16" Ronals, so yes I am keeping the stock size wheel.
Pleased so far, and I will report back when I get the summer tires on. But if you have ideal roads with few imperfections and never get snow, by all means go for it. As always, your mileage will vary.
