A friend had a similar thing happen and ironically he didn't bend any valves???! Maybe get things back where they belong and do a compression check just in case you don't actually have to remove the head again. I have some ways that I carefully reset the cams to the crank in this situation, maybe give me a call (805) 703-0603 as it would be a lot easier to go over on the phone. If it makes you feel any better your pistons should be OK either way! Take care, Dave
