Can anyone confirm for me the width of the (I assume stock) 15 spoke sunburst wheels on my '89 900 turbo conv? The site below seems to imply that these were primarily 6" wheels for the 9000s with special 5.5" versions for 900s made in 87 and 88. Would an '89 900TC with these wheels likely be the 6" then? Is the Saab part number visable anywhere on the installed wheel?

I'm looking into new tires (amongst other things) and would like to go with 205/50-55s so I am hoping for 6". There were Riken 205/60s on when I got it that seem to be ok fit wise. Planning on new springs and dampers too, probably the shox.com B&G w/Koni's kit. Was quite intrigued to find out B&G and Kilen are both Lesjöfors.
Then I just need to decide:
Yoko AVS ES100 (anyone know which sizes have steel sidewall inserts?)
Yoko Avid V4s
Pirelli P6000 (SV or not SV?)
Falken Ziex ZE-512
Falken Azenis Sport
BFG g-Force Sport
BFG Traction T/A V or H
Toyo Proxes T1-S
Toyo Proxes T4
Toyo Proxes TPT
Cooper Zeon 2XS
Cooper Zeon ZPT
Avon Tech M500
Bridgestone Pot. S-03 PP
Kumho ECSTA MX
:-)
Anyone have any more experiences with any of these (or any other choices), particularly on similar vehicle/susp setup beyond whats in the archives? I'm in AZ, so lots of dry and hot. Don't want my fillings rattled out, or to have slicks after 10k miles, but cornering/handling is priority for hopefully under $400 installed.
Thanks,
Rob Smith
