Crank shaft sensor:
voltage varies with engine speed. When on idle teh voltage is 5-10V (AC) and 2500rpm appr. 15-20V (AC).
Forgot to measure what these values are in real life, today when I tested the ECU harness wiring.
The wiring to ECU harness is a 20min job
To get RPM one should connect the O-scope to ECU pins 17 and 18. (colors YE and BK) These pins are for crank shaft position sensor. The crank shaft sensor has 58 slots, so one needs to divide the measured frequency by 58 and multiply by 60 to get RPM. On idle the measurement result should show ~800Hz between pins 17 and 18
MAF can be measured between ECU pins 65 (color GY/BU) and 25 (power ground). To convert MAF Hz to g/s use the regression equation posted in one of my earlier posts.
NOTE this equtation is valied from 40g/s and up due to the fact that the hz vs. g/s correlation is based on two seperate curves.
