Talladega900,
thanks very much for the info. i definitely can't drop 40 large on an S4, and i love my saab, so i'll most likely travel the mod route.
what kind of cash did you shell out for the mods you suggested?
i guess i was estimating 6K because of wheels, which can easily run 2-3K for some 17 inchers.
also, where can i find the abbott america products? i went to the website, but it is under heavy construction and not viewable beyond the default page.
another item of interest to me is improving the handling quality of my car on less than glassy-smooth roads (which are nearly all roads, where i live in the NE). i don't know if just changing my shocks will alter these handling characteristics...so are there any other products that improve steering, reduce body roll, etc., just generally making the car feel more "solid?"
i drove my friend's new wrx and while it didn't have the torque or whoosh of my car, it felt much more stable over a variety of pavement qualities.
perhaps because it is a new platform and my saab is a 97...

- BTW, in no way did it cost $6K to do these mods. n/m, Talladega900, Sun, 15 Apr 2001 00:12:10
