The spring in the WGA is not your main source of controlling boost. There are some cars that use this method as the main source and you would be connecting your turbo nipple directly up to the WGA and allow full control of the WGA spring to make the decision. Being you are using a MBC to control the signal to the WGA, I would highly suggest that you go with the softest spring possible.
Maybe worth a few extra bits to have forge send you both springs. Their WGA is servicable and springs can be swapped if needed. You can start with the soft one, see how it fares, and switch it out to the stiffer one for comparison. The spring shouldn't be too expensive and maybe worth the experiment. Softer is better when the WGA is not your main source for controlling peak boost pressure which it isn't right now.
