you are probably rich but doing mods to increase boot st probably wont straiten it out
you should get to the root of the problem & solve it & then hot rod it

you can try turning the screw on the AMM CCW 2 or 3 turns & see if that helps
you probably have a bad AMM but pull your plugs & see if one is richer than the others mabey you have a leaking injector
you can also take a vacum line off the intake & stick it in a gallon of water & run a gallon of water thru the engine (start the engine & then stick the hose in the water while reving the engine rev the engine gently with hose in the water)this will clean the cat & knock any carbon off the backs of the valves & the tops of the pistons
