Why not a mid/rear engined RWD saab?

I saw a pic of one in a european car a while back. I believe saab actually made the prototype. Not sure on the details. There was only an exterior shot. It looked badass with the intake for the engine on the sides of the car though. We all know theres plenty of room behind the front seats for this. Im not sure how hard it would be to mount the LS1 back there instead of up front though. Would proabably bring the car to about a 50/50 weight dist. id think. Someone posted pics of an iceracing saab with a mid/rear engine. Also, if you did do this why not the B234 out of the AERO? That trans is quite a bit better i hear. Just some thoughts. The rear engine design i would imagine owuld be 2 to 3 x the work though.
