You typed that the Sonett has a cage built in; What do you think of a side impact collision? Will the roof pillars, the A and B structures be enough to prevent a car/truck's nose in one's lap? I was 1 year old when my 1972 Sonett was made, hence I have not seen any safety/promotional literature on this model. When I research, I can not find any info/or photos. For example, if one were to research 96s or 99s, info.photos are in abundance. It is not that I am paraniod(well a little) It is simply I have been in accidents, in my beautiful 900 Turbos. I have also seen friends vehicles in accident. A friend of mine was sitting at a light, and a huge Ford Navigator careened around the corner with excessive speed and slammed into the A pillar area. Well the classic 900 was totaled. Aside from sheer shock, and a sore leg, the Saab's driver was fine. Thanks for replying
