I've never driven the 9-5, but I hope that second and third gears are much closer in the automatic.

I was just wondering how those with experience find the 9000 vs the 9-5. Aside from the obvious, what are the pros and cons of each? TIA, Dave

I have a '89 9000 Turbo with about 197,000 miles.
When I start the car in the morning -- when it's cold -- the clutch pedal does not have its usual pressure/tension. My foot does not feel any pressure/tension from the pedal until the pedal is pressed down about two inches. When I let go of the clutch, it also seems to come back up slower and with minimal pressure/tension as well. The clutch pedal's pressure/tension gets back to normal when the car has warmed up -- after I have been through a few stop signs and traffic lights. The pedal also occassionally makes a 'click' or 'clock' noise when pressed down.
I have taken the car to my mechanic a couple of times, but since the car has warmed up by the time I get to him, the clutch pedal operates normally. The pedal also never makes any noise when he drives its.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, Ramon Veloso 1989 9000T 5spd, 197,000 miles
