I've never driven the 9-5, but I hope that second and third gears are much
closer in the automatic.

I was just wondering how those with experience find the 9000 vs the 9-5.
Aside from the obvious, what are the pros and cons of each?
TIA,
Dave

I have a '89 9000 Turbo with about 197,000 miles.

When I start the car in the morning -- when it's cold -- the clutch pedal
does not have its usual pressure/tension. My foot does not feel any
pressure/tension from the pedal until the pedal is pressed down about two
inches. When I let go of the clutch, it also seems to come back up slower
and with minimal pressure/tension as well. The clutch pedal's
pressure/tension gets back to normal when the car has warmed up -- after I
have been through a few stop signs and traffic lights. The pedal also
occassionally makes a 'click' or 'clock' noise when pressed down.

I have taken the car to my mechanic a couple of times, but since the car has
warmed up by the time I get to him, the clutch pedal operates normally. The
pedal also never makes any noise when he drives its.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Ramon Veloso
