I recently went through this exercise on my own, comparing trim levels and options.

Depending on where you live, you have to get the heated seats. They don't ship cars to certain regions without them. My dealer also told me that the Edmund's invoice didn't include his regional marketing fee ($350)that was hardwired into the invoice price. He was giving me a great deal (inovice, including options at invoice-minus incentives), so I didn't argue over it.

I was taking the 3000 GM incentive and 1500 GM loyalty for a total of $4500 off. The incentive comes off pre-tax and the loyalty is post-tax, so the numbers work a little differently

So I priced a base Linear, no options other than the heated seats, at around 24,500, inclusive of 8.25% sales tax, license, etc. So knock off about 2500 off of my price for all of the taxes, etc., and you get to around 22.

Again, this was based on my salesguy (a friend of Mike it turns out) starting out with me on the bottom line, but it sounds like from this board that most Saab dealers are operating around that level these days.

My advice, if you want the base car and qualify for loyalty, this is a steal. You're getting the car for nearly six grand below sticker, which basically means you're first year depreciation is free. All of this for a brand new car, four year warrantied car that you're going to love.
