The problem with this article is they drove the first year vehicle. In many situations magazine test drive first year models. The problem with this is all of the problems have not yet had there chance to be worked out. I am sure Saab and GM are trying to make a better car. They don't want their owners sitting on the side of the road waiting for tow trucks, and saying I will never buy another Saab. The new models have computer upgrades and are by far better than the first year models. I have owned a couple first generation models during my time. They did seem to have more probles then the second years vehicles. I am sure if the folks at Automobile Magazine test drove the car again there opinions would differ from the way they did when they ended the full year test of this particular vehicle. Also the other European brands have their share of problems. I don't always think the people at these magzines have the best views. It seems better to aks an owner not someone who beats on a car for a year.
