The pistons must be turned to go back into the housing. Clockwise to get the pistons back in. The ebrake is built in and when you depress the pedal after fitting the new pads it is self adjusted. Do not cross thread the caliper slide pins. It seems easier to do with the rattle clip configuration used than older caliper styles... There are 2 holes in the face of the piston. There is a factory special tool with 2 pins on the face but you should be able to find a universal tool. Do not damage the rubber piston seal if not using the proper too. Hope this will help...
