I have a 2005 93 Aero Convertible with the Hands-free phone option. I've purchased the cable kit from Saab to connect to the Hands-free cable located in the right side of the console. I've also ordered the Parrot CK3000 Blue-Tooth car kit to install.
I've seen a post on this forum that when adding a handsfree unit you need to insert a transformer between the speaker leads from the handsfree unit to the Saab HU. The reference says it is needed for the 93 Sport Saloon. I have the optional 300W radio in the convertible. Do I need this transformer? The Sport Saloon is not offered in the US. Is it really a statement of what radio you have or how you connect the Handsfree to the HU?
Thanks
