Door Speakers (another post)

I know this is a topic that has been beaten to death, but here goes again. I recently installed 3.5 Boston Acoustics in the dash--very easy and made great improvements in clarity. I also purchased 6.5 infinity kappas for the doors, that i havent installed yet. Reading through some posts today i saw someone say that the door speakers get most of the bass signals from the amp, the very low smooth deep bass sounds, which i like when listening to loud music. The problem is the mid range sounds from the door are horrible, almost to the point of sounding harsh, or blown depending on the type of music(rap, rock, techno, etc.)...Will installing the kappa 2-way speakers cause me to lose the deep smooth bass while improving the mid range bass only? I dont want this--the smooth lows are good, its just the mid bass i would like to fix. How do i improve this part of the sound? Also, the rear speakers sound very weak when i fade the head unit only to the rear--With 6x9's i would think you would get decent lows back there, but the overall bass is poor, weak---Is this just a balance thing? Do i need to favor the fader towards the back and turn up the bass and volume to balance it out? I cant seem to figure out the configuration of the these amps...Any info would help. Thanks!
