Uncertifyable at 61k...All cars depreciate i.e. .. The biggest market for that car is a Saab dealer and 61k miles makes it inelibible for CPO. Technically you can CPO a car through 60k, but at 50k the factory warranty runs out and CPO gets touchy or I should say expensive. Also the buyers are not warm to high mileage newer cars, low mileage older cars yes is more of a buying motivation. In otherwards if someone is gonna' buy a 60k car, why buy a newer more expensive one?
Meanwhile a 2006 "Arc" called a 2.0T for 2006 is only $29,720, auto, sunroof, metallic paint and 39% of that derived from 61k miles and 100k for straight line deprectian is about $14k isn't it?
So if you listened to the BMW salesman and had gotten a 325i for it's superior resale value, the acknowledge class leader in resale, you'd get only about $2k more or $16k ish. All cars depreciate. I just looked at a Mercedes C240 with similar mileage that was a little rough for $12k. Saab resale is very average lately.
