Which saab are you talking about? cuz every saab is different when it comes to brakes. My 94 9k aero needs rotors every brake job and i know that because i'm a mechanic myself and i do my own brakes. Trust me nothing more i would love then not to replace them but my brakes went 40k they were new rotors pads all the way around. I took wheels off and noticed a huge Lip(which almost every european car gets, the type of metal/treating the use) So i mesured the rotors and they were under spec. Brand new rotors never turned 40k and they are gone.
93ss shouldnt need fronts as they are thick and tend not to do that but i did notice on my girlfriends 03 vector that rear rotors are getting quete a lip on them
