Hi there!
I'm a first time Saab owner (purchased an '06 9-3 2.0 last week) and so far, I love the car. I bought it from a dealership 300 miles away, because they were the only ones in the state with the color and ops I wanted (I'm in CA). They delivered the car on Monday, and ever since, the information display has been fluctuating like crazy. Here are the main issues:

1. Time for Service - this comes on every single morning and I clear it each time but the message and wrench icon keep coming back. This happens just in the a.m. upon the first startup.

2. DTE - this one's got a mind of its own! It swings around 80 miles above and below the first number it gives, so I never know what to believe. It seems to me it should never be MORE than what it said yesterday or the day before, but the number changes constantly and erratically (and again, they are huge shifts, not talking a few miles here and there)! I don't know if I can ever rely on it, and that bums me out.

3. MPG Display - This hovers around 17 most of the time and has NEVER been more than 25. I do a lot of freeway driving and I am not a leadfoot, plus the AC is usually off. This seems very wrong.

4. Speed Display - This one is DEFINITELY off. It says I'm going 14 mph when I'm stopped at a red light, and 40 when I'm flying on the freeway! What gives?

I am very sad that this is happening and I keep thinking that maybe I need to break the car in first? Did any of you experience this as well? The car did sit on a lot for most of the year, and had 75 miles on it, but would that mess with the SID THIS much??

Would a dealer be able to fix this? Please help :(
