I wonder if this is similar to the occasional lurching I'm experiencing under light acceleration. At the shift between either 3-4 or 4-5 it seems the transmission goes into neutral then upshifts roughly. I haven't yet figured out the exact circumstances as yet. Not at all consistent. If I'm heavy on the throttle it's fine.

Another lister suggested Torque Converter lock-up. I've not yet had it back to the shop for a check. Since it is somewhat inconsistent I'm concerned I'll get the old "We didn't have any problems". I somehow doubt this one appears on the computer. 17k miles.
