Please dont make the same mistake I did. I bought my 06 9-3 in oct of 05 and with it I recieved two keys the first of wich I lost about 6 weeks after owning the car. My wife drove the car about four weeks ago, returned home and has seemed to have lost the 2nd key. The car is in the driveway, locked, and has not been driven in over a month. We have searched the house high and low and can not find this key. I am thinking it got trashed. The cost to replace the key at the dealership is 1000.00. because we dont have a key to match and copy they have to bring up the console and replace the interface module. What do you think about this? Is there any other way?
