sunroof closing problems

Hi All: I have a 2004 93 2.0T and seem to be having problems with sunroof closing. Most of the time it closes automatically- however there are a few occasions when the roof "bounces back" and will not close- sort of like it's hitting or sensing something. I can't find anything. I end up shutting the car off and leaving it partially open, and when i return it seems to close just fine. What gives? It's incredible fustrating. Thanks
