Though the 2003 SS Vector we purchased used (82000miles)has been an absolute blast to drive, all these issues the 03's make me want to dump this thing!
The previous owner had a very detailed account of all maintenance and "fixes". Everything performed at the dealership he purchased it from. But I continue to hear about these issues with the 03's, and now that I hear "noises" from the front end, the recently "warranty fixed" heated seat for driver side not working, alarm going off for no reason, key suddenly not working, burning a quart of oil every 600 miles and the local dealership unable to tell me why.....
It looks as though we couldn't have picked a worse year. If the dealership acted like they gave a s**t or valued me as a customer I might be willing to keep the faith with SAAB. I fear without having a warranty I'm just going to end up getting it up the end. Thought $10,000 was a great price, but I'd probably end up spending $10,000 more before all these are corrected. If that's even possible. A bunch of BS
