There's special convertable top products on the market, State of NINE has one, I think. I'd heard back in the day that Saab recommended just mild soap, soft car brush, and water.
Or, like I do, keep the top down all the time and it stays clean ;-).
Brake dust is terrible on the rear wheels, almost non-existent in the front from the factory ceramic pads. I'm told they now have low-dust pads for the rear too, but I have no experience with that.
