2003SS Front Pass. Window Problem

I have a 03SS and noticed lately that the front passenger window was out of alignment when completely rolled up, resting outside the weatherstripping. I manualy shifted the window and popped it back in alignment. I've done this a few times over the past couple of months and was going to take off the door panel to take a look when the weather got better.
The other day, I went to roll down the window and heard a nasty crack. I'm afraid to roll down the window, not sure what to make of it. The glass seems intact right now.
Any suggestions before taking off the door panel?
-Window fallen off the tracks?
-Broken regulator?
