I have an 07 SS and found and fixed several rattles and squeeks over the past couple of weeks. The sunroof molding was fairly easy to fix. I opened the sunroof to it's fullest and when you look at the molding from the top you can see that it goes over top of what appears to be a metal tray that goes around the sunroof opening. If you move the molding with your hand you can hear it rubbing on the metal. I had a bottle Of Tri-Flo oil that had a straw dispenser and basically ran a bead of this around the outside of the plastic trim. I let the oil seep under the plastic. after a few minutes I went back to check it and no more noise. Been quiet for two weeks now. The other issue is the dreaded drivers seat creak. If you recline the seat back all the way you can get access to the "hinge" that connects the seat bottom to the seat back. A few drops of the same oil into the hinge where several pieces of metal appear to be sandwiched together and it also has been silent for 2 weeks now. The lates noise seems to be coming from the 2 large side panels on either side of the console. I will hit those this weekend. What a difference in how solid the car feels when it's quiet. :-)
