Pulled up on the parking brake really high to release it once yesterday and it released. The next time, it totally jammed and I had to have the car towed. (I tried to open the console to find the adjuster, but couldn't do it). The dealer wants to charge my $500+ and since I'm away from home, I called another dealer and they say it should cost more like $370. They see the TSB doesn't cover this.
Any tips or experiences on what I should be paying? Is there any way to verify that they aren't lying or can I have them temporarily remove the parking brake?
Thanks in advance,
Atul
