With my 99 9-5 I was in two serious accidents in it, and I did a lot of performance tuning... So the problems I had that were not related to those was the battery for the alarm, a dic, a key fob that was my fault, I went swimming with it in my pocket, and one of the arms of the moon roof broke and I lost a turbo. Other that long list, it was perfectly serviceable, and I loved it. But because of the last accident when somebody ran a red light, and smased the side of my car, it was never thesame, didn't drive true. And had other issues, so I got rid of it.
My new 9-3 i've had no problems at all. But i've owned it a whole 3 weeks, and have put 900 miles on it. So it hasn't had time to go wrong on me. And I haven't noticed any issues except for the memory seats that I have a talent for pushing when I sit in the car. Seems like a luck of the draw. I'm hoping to get a good deal on a used one, under 2k for a 2000 9-5. That way its cheap enough I can toss it after a couple of years if something goes major south. I want to replace the kia I currently commute it.
