I asked about awhile back, see link.
If the alarm goes of randomly it might be that the trunk latch and micro switch is not adjusted properly after the collision.
The other problem using trunk unlock button on remote is due to that the trunk lid is not popping up and staying up high enough disarming the alarm so that the alarm reset itself.
Especially the cars using a trunk spoiler have this problem.
It is two spring loaded rubber bumpers that can be installed to correct that problem but you need to cut a hole in the sheet metal of the trunk to mount those bumper stops. They came installed on the convertible from factory. P/N 12833991
