Trading in the van... Posted by Johnson [Email] (#3237) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Johnson) on Wed, 30 Jun 2010 14:08:30 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My wife and I are thinking of trading in our minivan for a saab 9-3 wagon. We had an 08 that we got this last december brand new, and only had a month and a half before my wife was hit by another driver totalling the car. We looked and looked and could not find another saab 9-3 wagon in our area new or used and made a knee jerk reaction and bought a minivan as our family car. (wife was 8 1/2 months pregnant, and they don't make car seats for motorcycles...) but we're thinking of trading in the van as we both loved the 9-3, and miss it. we don't want to give up the space of the van, but the 16 mpg is killing us. its just so huge! I'm not used to such a large vehicle. (chevy uplander extended). always feel like I'm going to hit something or roll the van over. its got plenty of pick up, but I have to drive it like a grandma...
Has anybody else made the switch from van to wagon? any regrets? no regrets?
We were looking at trading straight across, and are working with a dealer, so our payments would stay the same for the same amount of time. looking at an 07 wagon with about 65k miles on it.
