Yes. It is the battery. The car was towed to the dealer this morning after the tow truck driver tried unsucessfully to jump start it. Battery was replaced under warranty and everything worked fine now. Question: Why can't the battery be jump started? The service advisor said Saab cannot be jump-started due to all the electronic modules in the car. Is that true? Also the old battery is less than 3 years and failed without warning. Should I start replacing battery every 3 years regardless of any obvious symtoms? I am concerned about the reliability of the car if the battery can fil without warning. Any advise?
